16 DE 46 TLV commerc cv mailed to I. Slutzki Immigrant (illegal) of the ship "Yagur" c/o the Jew. Agency Haifa. The "Yagur" left Marseille on 5 Aug 46 with 750 Holocaust survivors. The ship was intercepted by the British Navy on 11 Aug, towed to Haifa and the passengers were, along with those of the "Henrietta Szold, the first to be taken to Camps in Cyprus, opened on 13 Aug 46. Cv is properly frank 20m (SG99) the surface rate to Cyprus. Original contents, in Yiddish, by TLV resident to her survived brother, Haifa arr pmk 17 DE; roughly opened top & soiling, still a fine Historic item
